You will feel the love of God as soon as you walk in and greeted with a smile. We want your first experience at Calvary Virginia Beach to be a great one!

You might be wondering, what's it really like at Calvary?

Simply stated, at Calvary, we're all about Jesus. You won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation, and we don't care how you're dressed. Our church is made up of imperfect people with every kind of story imaginable. We are not a Hotel for the saints, but a hospital for the broken.

Want to know the best part? No matter what you've been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you'll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.

Come as you are! We are so excited to meet you!

What can I expect?

What is the average time frame of a calvary virginia beach service?

In total, a Calvary service is about an hour. Services begin with the Calvary's worship team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship, however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, our Senior Pastor or one of the Associate Pastors will come and share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. We will close with an altar call time, where you can come up and get prayer from our leadership team.

What's the culture like at Calvary virginia beach?

Sunday's at Calvary are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest and leave feeling like one of the family.

What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Calvary Kids, we make this a priority. We also make our children's safety a priority. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Calvary Kids program the first time you visit. Calvary Kids is offered for kids ages infant through Grade 5.

*Please allow ten minutes prior to the service to sign your child in for Calvary Kids or click below to pre-register your children online.

Where do my Middle and High School students go?

We have a place for everyone - Calvary Students is where our Middle and High School students come together as a Student Ministry on Sunday's and Wednesdays.
